Hyeonju Yoga Meditation (Changwon, Masanhappo-gu) will open the KTYA-accredited RYTK400 Yoga Certification Program on January 24, 2026, as part of the nationwide simultaneous launch across official training centers of the Korea Therapy Yoga Association (KTYA). The course is designed for RYTK300+ instructors who want to move beyond asana-focused teaching and build the practical skills to guide beginner-level yoga meditation safely, consistently, and in a class-ready format. The training site is located at 201, Commercial Building, 214 Muhak-ro, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon, Gyeongnam.
The yoga market has shifted: students now ask less about ¡°which poses¡± and more about ¡°how calm and restored they feel after class.¡± With more people struggling with insomnia, dysfunctional breathing, chronic stress, and racing thoughts, meditation is no longer an optional add-on—it is a key driver of trust, retention, and program value. RYTK400 responds to this reality by standardizing meditation teaching as a professional competency, helping instructors transform ¡°exercise-only classes¡± into ¡°recovery-centered classes.¡±
KTYA¡¯s strength lies in its integrated education ecosystem. With a nationwide network of accredited centers, KTYA connects education, research, publishing, and media through academic collaboration, standardized textbooks, and professional content platforms. After certification, graduates can continue developing through the YO&P Membership system, which provides ongoing learning modules and advanced training pathways—supporting ¡°updating professionalism¡± rather than one-time credentials.
The RYTK400 curriculum is built on four pillars: Satkarma; asana (including bandha) for prana expansion; pranayama; and pratyahara. Pratyahara is treated not as abstract philosophy but as a teachable, nervous-system-informed skill. Instructors learn to guide ¡°asana-based pratyahara¡± and apply three core meditation tools—Yoga Nidra, aroma meditation, and singing bowl meditation—so that students can experience sensory withdrawal and down-regulation without force or strain. Yoga Nidra offers an accessible entry point for beginners, aroma anchors attention in the present moment, and singing bowls support deep relaxation and recovery rhythms that translate well into sleep and stress programs.
The program is led by Director Kim Hyunju, who serves in key roles within KTYA and related integrative meditation communities. Her teaching philosophy centers on aligning the body through breath and guiding the mind toward quiet balance. RYTK400 at Hyeonju Yoga Meditation is recommended for instructors who want to expand into meditation-based classes, improve class quality, and regain confidence in real-world teaching through a safe, structured, and practice-focused certification pathway.
