CLIMB YOGA (Gangdong Amsa Training Center) in Amsa-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, will open the KTYA RYTK400 Yoga Teacher Certification course on January 24, 2026, aligned with the nationwide launch across accredited centers of the Korea Therapy Yoga Association (KTYA). The program takes place at 5F, 759 Olympic-ro, Gangdong-gu, and is designed for teachers who already hold RYTK300+ (or an equivalent qualification) and want to upgrade from asana-led classes to structured breathwork and beginner-level meditation that can be delivered safely as a real class.
The course runs every Saturday from 1:00–4:00 PM for 10 sessions (30 hours total). Tuition is KRW 2,000,000, with an early-bird option available until January 10: either 10% off or support for certification and textbook fees. Installment payments are available. Enrollment is limited to 10 participants, selected through a first-come basis combined with document screening and an interview, and applications are submitted via the center¡¯s online form announced through its blog and Instagram.
RYTK400 at CLIMB YOGA is built on four pillars: Satkarma (cleansing foundations), bandha & asana for prana expansion, pranayama, and pratyahara (sensory withdrawal) as a teachable skill. Satkarma is taught through textbook-based theory and practical training so instructors can explain and apply cleansing principles without exaggeration. Bandha–asana training connects ¡°chakra-awakening¡± sequences with autonomic regulation and fascia lines, balancing sagittal, frontal, and transverse planes to build an ¡°asana pathway to meditation.¡± Pranayama focuses on correct use of primary breathing muscles and on how to build a meditation-ready body through breath.
Pratyahara is delivered through highly practical class recipes that instructors can replicate immediately: (1) Aroma breathing (15 min) + meditation-prep asana (30 min) + Yoga Nidra (10–15 min) + awakening awareness practice (5–10 min), or (2) Aroma breathing (15 min) + meditation-prep asana (30 min) + singing bowl therapy (15–20 min). Graduates can design multiple signature classes, such as aroma-and-breath cognitive movement with Nidra, posture-recovery body-scan meditation after alignment work, fascia-release movement with singing bowl therapy for low mood and fatigue, stress recovery meditation, breath & alignment soma-meditation, and aroma chakra healing sessions.
Program director Park Jeongyeon leads the center as a KTYA RYTK300+/RYTK400 accredited director and examiner, and a YO&P presenter. She serves as a research leader within IAIT¡¯s musculoskeletal–nervous system healing group, is an accredited education director for Singing Bowl Healing Meditation programs, and has authored books on fascia-line understanding and wall-therapy yoga. Her approach is summarized in one sentence: ¡°Build the body for meditation through breath (aroma, Nidra, singing bowls), and deepen teaching through fascia-based alignment.¡±
