RYTK400 is an advanced pathway designed for instructors who have completed RYTK300 and want to move beyond asana-led teaching into structured classes that safely integrate breathwork and introductory meditation. As the market shifts, students increasingly evaluate classes not by pose difficulty, but by post-class recovery—better sleep, calmer breathing, emotional stability, and reduced stress. RYTK400 responds to this demand by training instructors to ¡°design¡± recovery, rather than simply adding a meditative mood to the end of class.
Led by director Kwon Garyung, Yogadream & Pilates focuses on nervous-system–informed recovery yoga and meditation-based class design. With RYTK 300/400/500 training, over seven years of teaching experience, and extensive external and corporate sessions, she emphasizes step-by-step skill building from beginners to teachers, translating breath and alignment principles into cues instructors can use immediately.
The curriculum is organized into four pillars: Satkarma (purification), Bandha & Asana for pranic expansion, Pranayama, and Pratyahara. Satkarma is taught as a lifestyle rhythm reset, using observation tasks around sleep, digestion, and breathing to build personalized application. Bandha and asana sequences are ¡°down-regulating¡± by design—releasing overuse, activating only what is needed, and preparing the lower body and spine for stable seated posture. Pranayama prioritizes rhythm and recovery phases over depth, supported by safety guidelines to prevent dizziness or anxiety responses. Graduates leave with ready-to-run class formats such as a Sleep Rhythm Recovery Yoga Nidra class, an Anxiety Relief Breath & Pranayama class, and an Alignment-based Seated Meditation Focus class.
