Dharma Yoga Studio (Dharma Yoga), located in Ilgwang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan, will open the KTYA-accredited RYTK400 Yoga Instructor Certification Program on January 24, 2026. The training takes place at Startower 1 (Suite 204), 99 Haebit 6-ro, and is designed as a small-cohort course with only five seats, closing on a first-come basis by January 23.
RYTK400 is an advanced pathway for instructors and studio owners who have completed RYTK300+, and it is built to help teachers move beyond asana-centered instruction into classes that systematically integrate breathwork and meditation. As the yoga market increasingly values post-class recovery—better sleep, steadier breathing, emotional regulation, and reduced stress—RYTK400 frames ¡°recovery¡± not as a mood or ambiance, but as a teachable structure. The curriculum is organized around four pillars: Satkarma (cleansing principles), Bandha & Asana for pranic expansion, Pranayama, and Pratyahara.
Dharma Yoga Studio¡¯s distinctive strength is its traditional Hatha Yoga foundation translated into practical teaching skills. Director Kim Jae Eun brings over a decade of committed Hatha practice and extensive on-the-floor teaching experience with diverse students. The program emphasizes safe progression and clear standards so instructors can deliver depth without over-stimulating the nervous system—turning subtle concepts like bandha and pranic regulation into classroom-ready language, sequencing, and cues.
A key local specialization is backbending-based training to ¡°awaken¡± the ribcage and open the breathing pathway. Through structured thoracic expansion work, trainees learn to access and refine Uddiyana Bandha and Jalandhara Bandha, not as performance goals, but as functional mechanisms that support pranayama and pratyahara. Instructors are trained to guide students toward calm focus, stable breath, and inward attention—so the class reliably ends with a grounded, settled state.
Graduates are expected to leave with immediately deployable class formats, including: (1) step-by-step seated-meditation preparation for pelvic and low-back care, (2) thoracic expansion and breath-based spinal health classes, and (3) a dedicated backbend-focused Hatha training series. The program runs for eight sessions, held every Saturday from 2:00–6:00 PM, combining on/offline components. Overall, Dharma Yoga¡¯s RYTK400 aims to develop instructors who can design and teach breath-and-meditation-centered classes with clarity, safety, and real-world studio applicability.
