KTYA (Korea Therapy Yoga Association) will launch its RYTK400 Yoga Instructor Certification nationwide on January 24, 2026, through officially accredited training centers. Designed for instructors who have completed RYTK300+, RYTK400 moves beyond asana-centered teaching and trains teachers to deliver pranayama (breath training) and pratyahara (sensory withdrawal) as structured, teachable class skills—not as ¡°mood¡± or theory.
In Cheongju, Vini Yoga & Daom Pilates has been selected as an official host center, with the course led directly by Park Youngbin, President of KTYA. The program reflects a clear shift in the yoga market: retention is increasingly driven not by pose difficulty, but by post-class recovery outcomes—better sleep, calmer breathing, emotional steadiness, and reduced stress. As more students arrive with insomnia, hyperventilation tendencies, chronic stress, and racing thoughts, instructors need a repeatable framework for ¡°down-regulation¡± classes that are safe for beginners and effective in real studios.
RYTK400 is built on four pillars: Satkarma (cleansing disciplines), Bandha & Asana for pranic expansion, Pranayama, and Pratyahara. Pratyahara is treated as an actionable teaching method. Trainees learn to guide asana-based pratyahara (inward attention through movement) and integrate Yoga Nidra, aromatherapy meditation, and singing-bowl meditation as practical tools to help students settle naturally—without forcing concentration. This is paired with concrete class architecture: short breath-bridging at the start to stabilize the autonomic nervous system, alignment sequences to prepare a ¡°meditation-ready body¡± (pelvis–spine–ribcage), and 10–20 minutes of Nidra or sound-based recovery at the end to anchor the pratyahara experience and extend it into sleep, stress, and recovery programs.
KTYA emphasizes that RYTK400¡¯s value continues after certification. Through the YO&P Membership ecosystem, instructors can access ongoing sequence updates and advanced trainings across course modules, supporting continuous professional growth and studio-ready program development. The Cheongju cohort aims to raise the regional standard for breath-and-meditation-inclusive yoga classes, positioning RYTK400 as the next practical benchmark for modern yoga teaching.
