English Summary
Year-End Surya Namaskara 108 Practice Based on Safe and Complete Yoga Principles
Based on the philosophy of ¡°safe and complete practice¡± upheld by the Korea Therapy Yoga Association (KTYA) and the KTYA Ashtanga Yoga Academy, a year-end Surya Namaskara 108 practice was held on December 30, 2025, at Kim Yang-Hee Ashtanga Yoga Studio in Dongnae, Busan.
Rooted in Ashtanga Yoga, the session emphasized safety, breath awareness, and self-reflection rather than performance or achievement. Eight yoga instructors participated through voluntary service, guiding practitioners to respect their individual pace and physical condition.
The practice concluded with a singing bowl sound meditation. As an accredited training center of the Singing Bowl Therapy Meditation Institute (SBTMI) affiliated with KTYA, the studio integrated sound meditation to support deep relaxation and recovery. All participation fees were donated, extending the value of yoga practice into community care and social contribution.
