Korea Yoga Meditation Association (KYMA) President Ham Kyung-in Appointed Vice President of the International Association of Integrative Therapy (IAIT)
– ¡°100 Nights Yoga Meditation¡± Relaunches on February 23

IAIT appointed Ham Kyung-in, President of KYMA, as Vice President at its annual general meeting on January 11. KYMA will relaunch the ¡°100 Nights Yoga Meditation¡± program on February 23, alongside the opening of the Yoga Meditation Trainer 200 and 300 certification courses.

Ham Kyung-in, President of the Korea Yoga Meditation Association (Korea Yoga Meditation Association, KYMA), has been appointed Vice President of the International Association of Integrative Therapy (International Association of Integrative Therapy, IAIT). IAIT confirmed the appointment at its annual general meeting held on January 11, 2026, at ¡°Gukbo¡± in Daejeon, stating that in the process of organizing therapy not as an individual technique but as a standard that can be explained with evidence and reproduced in the field, meditation is not optional but a core infrastructure.

Why IAIT Is Gaining Attention: Not ¡°Events,¡± but a System Where Outcomes Accumulate

According to reporting, IAIT¡¯s competitiveness lies not in one-off events but in an operational structure where results steadily accumulate. Through a platform centered on regular academic conferences and research committees, IAIT has strengthened a feedback loop in which field-validated programs circulate into research, education, content creation, and documentation. In other words, the goal is not to remain at the level of impressions such as ¡°It felt good¡± or ¡°It was healing,¡± but to organize programs into a reproducible format—complete with an operational framework, teaching points, safety guidelines, evaluation, and feedback—so that consistent outcomes can be achieved regardless of who teaches.

KYMA President Ham Kyung-in: Not Someone Who ¡°Knows Meditation,¡± but Someone Who Helps It Take Root

Ham is known as a yoga meditation leader who has combined education with real-world field application, based in Banpo, Seoul. In particular, she has demonstrated strength in designing systems that go beyond understanding meditation to helping it become established in daily life. KYMA¡¯s long-term, project-based program ¡°100 Nights Yoga Meditation¡± is a representative example. Rather than a one-off class, it is designed as a nightly repetition model that helps participants make nervous system recovery, emotional stabilization, and sleep/stress care part of everyday life—earning recognition as a ¡°habit-based meditation operations model.¡±

¡°100 Nights Yoga Meditation¡± Returns on February 23

With this appointment, KYMA will restart ¡°100 Nights Yoga Meditation¡± beginning February 23. The program is designed to build recovery through a nightly routine, and details on participation and operations will be announced through KYMA¡¯s official notice channels. Industry attention is focused on whether the trend that ¡°meditation is not atmosphere, but a skill¡± can be demonstrated through a structured program.

Yoga Meditation Trainer 200 (Level 3) and 300 (Level 2) Certification Courses Open

In 2026, KYMA will further strengthen its yoga meditation teacher-training system by opening certification courses for Yoga Meditation Trainer 200 (Level 3) and Yoga Meditation Trainer 300 (Level 2). In particular, Yoga Meditation Trainer 200 (Level 3) emphasizes that it integrates accumulated education and field experience into a 200-hour curriculum designed to enable instructors to teach meditation in a reproducible manner in real settings. Yoga Meditation Trainer 300 (Level 2) aims to expand instructional capacity, focusing on program design, leadership, and more refined field application.

Message from IAIT President Han Se-young: ¡°Meditation, Too, Must Be Organized in the Language of Measurement, Documentation, and Reproducibility¡±

IAIT President Han Se-young emphasized that the academic advancement of integrative therapy is impossible without field data, and that the meditation field likewise must be organized in the language of measurement, documentation, and reproducibility in order to grow as a profession. IAIT stated that, following this appointment, it will refine standardized operational frameworks for meditation programs at the association level and reinforce a virtuous cycle of evidence–education–field practice–documentation.

Q1. When does the ¡°100 Nights Yoga Meditation¡± program begin?
A. It will restart on February 23, 2026.

Q2. What is the difference between Yoga Meditation Trainer 200 (Level 3) and 300 (Level 2)?
A. Trainer 200 (Level 3) focuses on reproducibility in on-site instruction (core teaching competency), while Trainer 300 (Level 2) emphasizes program design, leadership, and expanded field application.

Q3. What does ¡°standardization¡± mean in IAIT¡¯s context?
A. It means establishing an operational framework, safety guidelines, and an evaluation and feedback system so that similar outcomes can be achieved regardless of who leads the training.
