Lumi Garden, Daejeon
Expanding Integrative Healing Through Singing Bowl Education
Lumi Garden, located in Daejeon, is a healing-centered space dedicated to meditation, emotional recovery, and sensory balance. Led by Director Lee Jeong-a, the center integrates meditation, energy work, and singing bowl therapy into structured programs designed to stabilize the nervous system and support inner restoration.
Director Lee Jeong-a is an experienced meditation educator and therapist who has long emphasized structured healing rather than one-time relaxation experiences. Her extensive experience in private sessions, group meditation, and emotional recovery programs forms a strong foundation for Lumi Garden¡¯s role as an official education center.
Nationwide Singing Bowl Certification Courses Opening in February
This February, the Singing Bowl Therapy Meditation Institute (SBTMI), affiliated with the Korea Therapy Yoga Association (KTYA), will open its Singing Bowl Basic Completion Course and Singing Bowl Meditation Yoga Instructor Level 2 Certification Course across 13 official education centers nationwide. Lumi Garden will serve as the official center in Daejeon, delivering the standardized SBTMI curriculum.
The Singing Bowl Basic Course covers bowl structure, vibration principles, sound meditation experiences, and foundational therapeutic practices. Participants gain a practical understanding of how sound affects breathing, heart rate, tension, and relaxation—focusing on therapeutic application rather than performance.
Singing Bowl Meditation Yoga Instructor Level 2
The Level 2 Certification Course trains participants to design individual and group sessions that integrate yoga asana, pranayama, meditation, and chakra-based emotional protocols. After passing written and practical evaluations, participants receive the Singing Bowl Meditation Yoga Instructor Level 2 Certificate, a private qualification officially registered with the Korean government.
SBTMI continues to support certified instructors through advanced training, conferences, and content-based networking, positioning certification as the starting point of professional practice rather than its conclusion.
YO&P Membership: Ongoing Support After Certification
Those who earn certifications from SBTMI, KTYA, MPA Pilates, or K-WIA are eligible for YO&P Membership benefits.
If members join within one month of certification, the KRW 180,000 registration fee is fully waived.
YO&P Membership operates in collaboration with IAIT, KTYA, MPA Pilates, K-WIA, and the Korea Yoga Meditation Association (KYMA). Full members pay a monthly fee of KRW 10,000 and gain access to approximately 70 professional completion courses at no additional cost, while certification programs are offered at significantly reduced rates.
Conclusion
Lumi Garden¡¯s participation as an official education center marks a meaningful step in expanding the professional foundation of healing and meditation practices in Daejeon. The February nationwide opening of the singing bowl programs offers practitioners and instructors an opportunity to build sustainable expertise, supported by structured education and long-term membership benefits.
