Climb Yoga Gangdong Amsa Center Launches ¡°Measurable Yoga Meditation¡± Program
– Free Pre- and Post- EEG Analysis for ¡®100 Nights Yoga Meditation¡¯ Participants and Launch of Yoga Meditation Trainer Certification Courses
Climb Yoga Gangdong Amsa Center (CLIMB YOGA, 5th Floor, 759 Olympic-ro, Gangdong-gu, Seoul) has officially launched a ¡°measurable yoga meditation¡± program, offering free pre- and post-assessments of brain waves (EEG) for participants of the Korea Yoga Meditation Association (KYMA) program ¡°100 Nights Yoga Meditation.¡± The center will also begin its Yoga Meditation Trainer 200 (Level 3) and 300 (Level 2) certification courses.
From February 10 to 21, 2026, EEG measurements and analyses will be conducted for both the 100 Nights Yoga Meditation participants and the trainer course attendees. Individual analysis reports will be provided, offering objective insights into each participant¡¯s neural patterns. The Yoga Meditation Trainer courses are scheduled to commence on February 21, 2026.
The core philosophy of this program is: ¡°Meditation begins with experience, but education is completed with evidence.¡± Rather than relying solely on subjective impressions such as ¡°I feel better,¡± the program uses EEG data to track changes in focus, relaxation, and recovery patterns. By comparing pre- and post-assessments across the 100-night long-term meditation routine, the program measures the cumulative effects of sustained practice, rather than single-session experiences.
Dr. Jung-Yeon Park, director of Climb Yoga Gangdong Amsa, leads the initiative as a brain therapy instructor. She has implemented measurement-based counseling and training designs in practice and serves as education director for RYTK300+ and RYTK400 Yoga Certification Courses under the Korea Therapy Yoga Association (KTYA). Dr. Park is also the Gangdong Hub Director for KYMA, a board member of the International Association of Integrative Therapy (IAIT), and chair of the Musculoskeletal & Nervous System Healing Group¡¯s Posture Correction Research Committee, integrating movement, alignment, and neural recovery into a unified framework for research and education.
Dr. Park also plays a key role in the Singing Bowl Meditation Yoga Instructor program. As the certified education director (registration number 2019-002404) for the Basic and Level 2 courses at the Singing Bowl Healing Meditation Institute (SBHMI), she has expanded instructor education to include sensory-based relaxation and recovery training using breath, rhythm, and vibration. Her publications include Secrets of a Flexible Body: A First Step to Understanding Fascial Lines (ISBN 9791194810537) and Wall Yoga and Pilates Applications and Challenges, Vol. 3-2 (ISBN 9791194810636).
The EEG measurement and analysis are not a one-time event but form foundational data for the trainer certification courses. The program is designed to help participants translate practice skills into teaching ability, covering routine design, instructional language, class structuring, and counseling application. Dr. Park explains: ¡°The analysis report shows when a person leans toward hyperarousal and when their breathing rhythm stabilizes. Trainers can use this data to design classes with actionable practice points rather than subjective impressions.¡± Participants in the 100 Nights Yoga Meditation program can also monitor their practice progress through EEG pre- and post-comparisons and integrate findings into their own training and instruction.
KYMA emphasizes: ¡°While meditation is a subjective experience, teaching must be reproducible. Measurable yoga meditation provides a starting point for turning counseling and class design into evidence-based practice.¡± Climb Yoga Gangdong Amsa Center aims to establish a standard for yoga meditation instructors by creating a seamless model connecting measurement, practice, and education in the field.
EEG measurement and analysis will be conducted from February 10 to 21, 2026. The Yoga Meditation Trainer 200 (Level 3) and 300 (Level 2) courses will begin on February 21, 2026, at Climb Yoga Gangdong Amsa Center, 5th Floor, 759 Olympic-ro, Gangdong-gu, Seoul. Participation and course information are available through KYMA and the center¡¯s official channels.
